What sits around your main activity deserves a place in the plan too. These are six areas to assess as your business grows.
Books, income tax, advance tax and TDS / TCS; plus GST returns, reconciliations and invoicing where applicable.
Company or LLP annual filings, audit coordination, statutory records and filings when directors, partners or ownership change.
Salary records, payroll deductions, EPF / ESI coverage, workplace policies, POSH and relevant contractor obligations.
Shops & Establishments, professional tax, trade permissions, fire safety and other local approvals relevant to the premises.
Customer terms, vendor and employee agreements, IP ownership, privacy practices and relevant consumer or data protection duties.
Product declarations, licence conditions, environmental reporting, covered EPR obligations and applicable renewal requirements.
Relevant, not automatic. Some items are mandatory only when specific conditions are met; others are optional protection or recognition. A qualified review should separate what is required now, what is recurring and what can wait.
Reviewed 20 October 2026. This directory groups service areas and offers indicative checklists. It does not calculate liability or replace a current, location-specific review. Thresholds, exemptions, forms and effective dates must be checked before acting.

Let’s talk about your businessYes. The directory covers business setup, GST registration and returns, business and individual income tax filing, TDS / TCS, bookkeeping, company and LLP filings, conversions, business closure, people-related compliance, trademarks, patents, legal documents and industry approvals. The scope and relevant professional involvement are agreed after reviewing your requirements.
No single rule covers every business. Turnover, type of supply, state, exemptions and specific registration provisions all matter. Online selling or having a company does not, by itself, give a complete answer. Start with an applicability review rather than a standard registration package.
Review six areas: tax and accounts; entity governance; people and payroll; premises and local rules; customers, contracts and data; and products, environmental duties and renewals. The business-category guide helps you start this discussion, but does not determine your legal obligations.
They are separate obligations. Income tax concerns the taxpayer’s income, GST concerns the relevant supplies and registrations, and company or LLP filings concern the legal entity. Completing one does not automatically complete the others.
No. The legal structure changes the governance, annual reporting and audit considerations. Industry, state, turnover, transactions and employee coverage add further conditions. Select your structure in the business guide to see which layer needs attention.
Not automatically. A company or LLP may still have entity-level annual obligations, and a tax registration can carry filing requirements even in a period with no activity. Review the actual entity and registration status before assuming that no return or payment is due.
Share your business activity, legal structure, state or operating locations, products or services, turnover range and whether you employ people. These inputs help separate initial registrations, recurring filings and activity-specific approvals. Do not share identity documents or sensitive financial records through this preview.
The directory includes changes to directors, partners, names, offices, business activities, agreements and capital, along with structure transitions and closure reviews. The available route depends on eligibility, liabilities and records. A transition may need a new entity and business transfer, and entity closure does not automatically cancel tax registrations.
Explore trademark search, registration, objections, opposition, assignment and renewal, plus patent, design and copyright work. Legal documents cover employment, founders and shareholders, commercial contracts, leases, finance records, notices and website policies. The content and professional scope are tailored to the actual matter.
