Business income tax returns.

Prepare an income tax return appropriate to your business and legal structure.

Scope before commitment Requirements explained
01 / THE BIG PICTURE

The right support.
With the details in view.

Translate the business accounts into a tax return appropriate to the entity, income and reporting year. We review the books, tax adjustments, available credits and filing status, then prepare the return working for approval while checking the forms and transition provisions that apply to the particular period.

First, establish what applies

The relevant return, audit requirement and tax treatment depend on the taxpayer, tax period, income and transactions. Income-tax forms and provisions must be checked for the applicable year.

What the scoped work can cover

  • Business tax computation and supporting schedules
  • Reviewed return data and payment position
  • Filing/verification evidence for the agreed return
02 / GET READY

The documents.
A clearer starting point.

Use this as a preparation list for the initial review. The final checklist is confirmed against the applicant, service route, location and current authority requirements.

  1. 01

Trial balance and general ledger for the reporting period

  2. 02

Bank statements, reconciliations and supporting transaction vouchers

  3. 03

PAN, entity details and previous returns with loss/depreciation schedules

  4. 04

Tax credit statements, tax payment challans and available AIS information

  5. 05

Fixed asset, borrowing, investment and related-party schedules

  6. 06

Audit reports, tax adjustments and applicable regime/option records

Share sensitive records only through an agreed secure channel after the engagement is confirmed. Do not send passwords, OTPs or signing keys.

03 / HOW IT MOVES FORWARD

One step.
Then the next.

A clear sequence, with room to resolve the details that are specific to your business.

  1. 01

    Confirm year and return

Check the legal entity, period, governing provisions and applicable return.

  2. 02

    Reconcile tax inputs

Tie accounts, reported information, tax credits and brought-forward positions.

  3. 03

    Prepare computation

Review deductions, disallowances and options against supporting evidence.

  4. 04

    Approve and file

Arrange authorised filing and verification, then retain the full computation and acknowledgement.

Scope, fees and timing are agreed after review. Document readiness, professional review and any authority queries affect the schedule. Statutory charges, testing, execution and other third-party costs are identified where relevant.

04 / BEYOND THIS STEP

Keep the next
responsibility in view.

Track return processing, tax credit differences and demands, preserve the computation with the books and use the final position when planning the next advance-tax cycle.

05 / A LITTLE MORE CLARITY

Good questions.
Useful answers.

01Does MCA annual filing also file our tax return?+

No. Company or LLP annual filings and income-tax returns are different obligations.

02Which Act and form apply during the transition?+

The income period and filing type determine the applicable old or new framework. Check the official form guidance for the relevant year.

03Can losses simply be carried forward from the accounts?+

Tax loss eligibility, filing conditions and past returns need a separate review; an accounting loss is not automatically the allowable tax figure.
